The New Balance 990v6 Limestone with Magenta is a must-have. The dad’s shoe continues to bring the heat. This time with the 990v6. When New Balance first debuted the 990 model it was supposed to be the best running show on the market. The 990’s features do just that.
For 40 years the 990 has delivered a high-quality shoe right here in the USA. The Boston-based sneaker company wanted to create the best running shoe on the market. The 990 not only has style it has features for a runner. The accents are reflective which allows runners to be seen in less light. The pigskin and overlays flow giving the 990 a streamlined look.
The 990 comes equipped with a chunky midsole that is lightweight and durable for all-day comfort. Before I switched to New Balance I would wear my Vapormax for at amusement parks. After a day of walking and chasing toddlers, my feet would be “on fire”. Once I switched to the 990 I could go all day. I could hardly tell I had plantar fasciitis.
This next iteration of the MADE in USA 990v6 is dropping in a Limestone colorway with magenta accents that wrap around the forefoot. Purple hits on the Fuelcell midsole with purple 990 branding on the tongue tag. The bold “N” logo stands out against the limestone with its purple and reflective accents.
The quality suede NB is known for wraps around the heel. The rugged outsole completes the sneaker in black and white. Look for this to drop on June 16th with a $220 price tag on New Balance. Stay tuned for more reviews until then check out this review from my closet.
