Nike Skateboarding has teamed up with legendary skate brand Antihero to drop two fresh takes on the classic SB Blazer Mid and SB Dunk High silhouettes. Both pairs nod to Antihero’s gritty, graphic-heavy aesthetic and their deep roots in skate culture. Let’s take a look at the Nike SB x Antihero collaboration.
Antihero Skateboards: A Legacy of Raw Creativity
Founded by Julien Stranger in the mid-’90s, Antihero has made its mark in skateboarding with bold graphics and their signature eagle logo. Known for its unapologetic approach, the brand represents a raw and rebellious spirit that aligns perfectly with Nike SB’s ethos.
Now, the Antihero x SB collaboration brings the same energy to two iconic Nike SB silhouettes:
Antihero x Nike SB Blazer Mid
The SB Blazer Mid gets a rugged makeover. The upper features rough green sued with contrasting yellow Suede accents. Yellow sits in the oversized Swoosh and eyestays. The tongue tag flaunts Grant Taylor x Nike SB co-branding.
The ankle has mismatched branding with Nike Sb on the left and antihero on the right. The translucent outsole has heavy graphics nodding to their signature style.
The Antihero x Nike SB Blazer will be available November 21st on the SNKRS app. The retail price is $100, and they will be available in men’s sizes. At the time of writing, Michigan-based skateshop Premier also has them in stock. I have purchased shoes from Premier and every time they arrive the next day.
Antihero x Nike SB Dunk High
This version of the Nike SB High Dunk offers a refined broken-in look. It combines a mix of wolf grey suede and cracked white leather. This look mimics that a well-loved pair of kicks.
The liner does a pre-worn look with exposed foam. The tongue tag dons Antiher and Nike branding. The insoles feature the phrase “Stay Ready” a nod to the skate cultures nature. While the shoe is completed with a black rubber cupped outsole.
This pair was released via Premier on November 18th. SNKRS will launch the pack on November 21st for another chance to cop. This pair retails for $145 and will be available in men’s sizes.
