Last week’s sneaker releases were fun. Jae Tips released the fourth silhouette in his Flowers Grow Uptown pack. The Nike SB Air Max 95 x Eric Koston dropped via skate shops. If you missed out don’t worry because the SNKRS app will be dropping them this week. Our sneaker release guide for the week of November 3rd will not disappoint.
This week I am excited for a couple of pairs. Nike is releasing the Nike Dunk x Stranger Things. Jordan Brand is dropping the Jordan 11 Rare Air and the Air Jordan 12 Taxi. Wicked fans look to the Puma app for that collaboration. Let’s get into Sneaker Geeks Sneaker Releases.
November 5th Sneaker Releases
Puma x Wicked Speedcat Elphie

- Colorway: Puma Black, Deep Forest, and Dark Myrtle
- Style Code: 407137_01
- Retail: $110
Let’s start off with a Puma collaboration. The hit movie Wicked leaves the big screen and comes to the sneaker scene. The classic streetwear staple gets a wizardly twist.
The upper sports a black textile material with a textured finish. On the side the Formstrip dons black suede outlined in green. A green Puma logo sits on the toe box along with Puma branding on the side.
Underneath is rubber heel tooling for extra grip. If you are interested in Wicked collaboration hit up the Puma app. This Speedcat will be available in women’s sizes and retail for $110.
Air Jordan 11 ‘Rare Air’s

- Colorway: Deep Royal Blue, Fire Red, Black, Sail, and Muslin
- Style Code: IH0296-400
- Retail: $235
Christmas is right around the corner and that means an Air Jordan 11 release. This time the Air Jordan 11 gets the rare air treatment. This is my favorite take on the Air Jordan silhouette. This year we have gotten the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, and the Air Jordan 4.
The Air Jordan 11 Rare Air sports a sail finished on the upper for an aged look. Lace up these kicks with Jordan spelled out along the eyestays. The iconic patent leather dons a dark royal blue hue. Fire red sits on the tongue and lateral heel.
Underneath the translucent outsole has a yellowed look for an aged look. This special Air Jordan 11 comes in a red and blue box. These will be available in men’s and big kid’s sizes with men’s sizes retailing for $235. This should be an easy grab with pairs available on the SNKRS app and Jordan retailers.
November 6th Sneaker Releases
Nike Dunk Low x Stranger Things

- Colorway: Phantom, Midnight Navy, College Grey, Varsity Red, Lemon Drop, and Dark Smoke Grey
- Style Code: IH6766-001
- Retail: $155
The upside down has taken over Nike. The Nike Dunk Low has a strange twist. With aged leather and upside down branding this Dunk Low is in another dimension. Just in time for the fifth season of the hit Netflix Series this Dunk Low is stranger than fiction.
Cracked aged white leather shows signs of survival and adventure along with the dirty laces. While in the upside down did it cause the Nike branding on the tongue and heel to do the same. On the lateral side is Nike branding in red also flipped.
The Blue Swoosh on the side looks like it has been through the ringer with its cracked leather. Inside are black insoles engulfed in vines and Stranger Things branding. This strange pair comes in a special Hawkins inspired box.
This might be a difficult pair to grab. I have only seen one raffle by way of Social Status. The SNKRS app will have these available first come first serve in men’s sizes with a $155 price tag.
November 7th Sneaker Releases
Nike SB Air Max 95 x Eric Koston

- Colorway: Obsidian, Speed Yellow, Midnight Navy, and Summit White
- Style Code: HQ8492-400
- Retail: $190
Eric Koston joined the SB team in 2009 and has made his mark in the Nike universe. This Nike SB Air Max 95 marks Koston’s fourth 95 silhouette. Pulling from his early days with Nike. Koston used his signature colors and go to details for these kicks.
Starting at the top is yellow mesh on the tongue under white netting. The tongue features mismatched patches with Air Max on one and Koston on the other. The side panels are finished in smooth suede going from grey to dark blue. On the lateral heel is a yellow Swoosh. On the toe is a Thai script giving a nod to his heritage.
The blue polyurethane midsole houses a yellow tinted air unit. Underneath is a blue lugged outsole with a wavy traction pattern for skateboard grip. If you missed the skate shop releases on November 1st don’t worry. SNKRS will have this available in men’s sizes on November 7th. They will be available in men’s sizes and retail for $190.
November 8th Sneaker Releases
Air Jordan 12 ‘Taxi’

- Colorway: White, Black, and Taxi
- Style Code: CT8013-117
- Retail: $225
Wrapping up the week is the return of an Air Jordan 12 OG colorway. The Taxi colorway debuted during Jordan’s fifth championship run in 1996. Since it’s debut it has seen two retros and this November 8th release marks it’s third return.
This mid cut Jordan silhouette sports all white leather with exposed radial stitching. Black lizard like overlays accent the white palette. On the tongue is a black stitched Jumpman along with “Two 3” in black. On the heel is a Jordan tag and 23 finished in a dark red hue.
Gold eyestays give a nice pop against the white. Underneath is a herringbone traction pad with an exposed carbon fiber plate. This will be a general full size run so it should be an easy cop. Men’s sizes retail for $225 and will be available via SNKRS or any Jordan retailer.
That does for this week’s sneaker releases. If you are like me and on a budget then this week might be a hard one. Is the Air Jordan 11 a must-cop or is it the Nike Dunk Low x Stranger Things? Let us know in the comments which pair or pairs you are going after. Until next week check out our How to Style guide for the Nike Air Max 1 Poly.
