Montreal bagels are popular not only for their taste, but also how they are made. The process includes being rolled by hand and poaching in honey water. These bagels may not be edible, but they are still just as good.
Nike partnered with Montreal bases retailer Off the Hook for this bakery collaboration. The bagel sports a sandy brown underlay with sesame covered tan overlay. The Blue Jay Nike Swoosh covers both side and wraps around to the heel. The heel sports Nike in white lettering to standout against the blue.
When you place your foot inside you will notice hardwood print on the insole. The lining, laces, and midsole are done in white. The shoe is wrapped up with a semi-translucent outsole representing the bottome of a golden bagel.
I was able to pick up a pair via an online raffle from Social Status. If you cannot wait for the release check out resell site GOAT. You can expect to pay $170 putting this $50 above retail. Stay tuned for my review and enjoy some more images below.
