The Stray Rats x New Balance 580 collaboration is back. Originally releasing in ’22 these vibrant 580s are hitting New Balance on May 18th. This 580 has a $160 price tag. This is lower than some of the Made in UK Newbies, which makes almost worth getting both pairs. Before you go waiting in que let’s talk about the Stray Rats.
The Stray Rats is a heavy graphic clothing brand. Stray Rats were founded in 2010 by Julian Consuegra and JR Ewing. Their inspiration comes from the less mainstream side of pop culture. The focus behind the brand is community and inspiration. Their clothing is popular in South Florida punk scene.
These 580s come in bright colors contrasted by muted earth tones. Like all 580s expect this sneaker to be light and feature the carbon fiber roll bar technology.
