The Nike Attack has seen a resurgence beginning in ’23. Sneaker Boutique Social Status dropped three Attack collaborations last year with a fourth on the way. Before the Social Status pair drops the Nike Attack ‘Oil Green’ drops on March 1st via Premier.

The Nike Mac Attack was originally released in 1984. It was tennis star John McEnroe’s signature shoe. The original colorway was a light smoke grey with black and white accents. The original colorway had an OG release in ’23 along with other colorways like white/blue and white/yellow.

This next interaction of the Nike Attack features an oil-green suede upper with sail mesh underlays. The ankle, Swoosh, and heel don a hairy suede in an Ironstone hue. The white midsole contrasts the muted earth tones with ironstone stitching for a pop. To tie it all together the outsole comes in a clean sail color.

I was not familiar with the Attack silhouette until it re-emerged last year. Since then I now have four pairs in my rotation. The overall fit of the shoe is comfortable. I would recommend going down a half size to minimize creasing and a more secure fit.

The Attack is not a hype silhouette as most colorways are sitting on the SNKRS App or can be found below retail. I expect this pair to sell out, so make sure to keep it locked on the Premiere app. Until the next review check out our sneaker release guide.
