2022 has been a big year for Jordan. We have had releases like the Jordan military 4s, the fire red 3s, and most recently the Zion x Jordan 1 ‘voodoo’. As we get closer to the end of the year there are still two more big releases for the Jordan brand. The Cherry 11’s and the highly anticipated Jordan 1 Lost and Found.

When news first dropped about the lost and found it was thought that the sneaker would be hard to find. That led any early pairs to sell for $1500, nearly 10 times the retail price of $180. As more and more news circulated the price began to drop. Six days before the release resell prices are sitting at $250 – $500. What does this say about the release? Stock numbers are estimated to be around 500K. That seems like plenty of stock, but that does not mean it will be an easy win.

The Story

The story behind this sneaker will make it a great addition to any sneaker head’s closet. This is a throwback to when purchasing sneakers was a more intimate experience. It was Saturday morning and you would head to your local sneaker shop to find discover a find from lost inventory. The box comes in classic black and red (bred) coloring. The lid is a mismatched orange with a weathered look. There is even a paper receipt from a fictional sneaker shop.

The sneaker is not going to be your standard Jordan 1 with tumbled leather and a bright white midsole. The leather of the ankle collar sport a cracked look. Showing signs of a sneaker that has been stored in a basement without proper care. The leather on the toe box also shows signs of wear and how the oils come out of the leather. With this unique design, every pair will be slightly different. For more on Jordan 1 check out this article.
