OG Bred colorway debuted in ’97

Right at the end of Jordan’s last championship run with the Chicago Bulls, we got the Air Jordan 13. This OG silhouette debuted in 1997. The original colorway was the ever-so-popular black/red or Bred. This sneaker captures what Jordan was in his career.

He kept his opponents on their heels, constantly guessing his next move. This earned him the nickname ‘black cat’. This sneaker encompasses that. The XII silhouette featured the cat eye on the ankle. Panther paw print on the outsole and carbon fiber on the shank plate. We have got some classic colorways and collabs including the most recent Solefly ‘Gone Fishing’.

Features an image of Biggie on the tongue

The Biggie Smalls x Jordan XII might be the collaboration of the year if not the decade. This silhouette comes in an all-black colorway with Bigs image on the tongue. The sock lining, tongue, and insole are done in a red/black buffalo check. The inside of the tongue dons one of Biggie’s famous openings to the song Juics “it was all a dream”. This shoe will be the most talked about the release of the year.

Limited to 23 pairs

To make it more interesting this will be a limited release of only 23 pairs, so expect to pay upwards of $3,000 if you want a pair. No release date has been announced, but there have been pairs showing up on Sotheby’s. All proceeds will go to the Christopher Wallace Foundation. Enjoy more images of this legendary sneaker below.
