Last week was packed full of exciting sneaker releases. Nike dropped their Yardrunner Air Max 95 pack. Japanese designer Nigo brings another Air Force 3 this time inspired by Levi’s. The Air Jordan 1 High green pro dropped for the ladies.

This week’s sneaker releases haven’t been me excited. Spooky season is upon us and Nike is dropping a pack of Halloween inspired kicks. New balance is dropping a 1906 and 9060 exclusive. Let’s get into this week’s sneaker releases.

October 20th Sneaker Releases

New Balance 1906 Utility

Grey open mesh underlays
  • Colorway: Eclipse w/ NB Navy and Phantom
  • Style Code: U1906NVP
  • Retail: $154.99

Starting this week’s sneaker releases are the first of two New Balance exclusives. The 1906 utility is a cousin of the 860 v2 and 2002R. One of my personal favorites of the New Balance is the ACTVEVA LITE cushioning for all day wear. All black open air mesh offers breathability while black curvy synthetic sits on top.

SBS pods and N-ergy sit in the heel for shock absorption. Underneath the stability web outsole provides additional support. This tonal black 1906 will be available via New Balance online on October 20th. They retail for $154.99 and will be available in men’s sizes.

New Balance 9060

Hairy suede upper
  • Colorway: Light Arctic Grey w/ Vintage Indigo and Pink Granite
  • Style Code: U9060NVP
  • Retail: $159.99

The second in the New Balance exclusives pack is the chunky 9060. The 9060 is a new silhouette for 2025 and it is a mash up of different sneakers giving off Frankenstein’s monster vibes. Taking bits and pieces from the 99x series.

Dark navy blue mesh is accented by light grey hairy suede. On the tongue is a NB 9060 patch. The aged looking laces match the sculpted pod midsole. On the heel is a translucent CR device.

The diamond outsole pattern draws from the 860. If you want to pick this pair up check out New Balance online. This 9060 will be available in men’s sizes and retails for $159.99.

October 21st Sneaker Releases

JA 3 ‘Zombie’

Fang lace dubraes
  • Colorway: Light Lemon Twist, Hemp, Bright Crimson, and Black
  • Style Code: HV9923-700
  • Retail: $140

Halloween is around the corner that means scary movies, candy corn, and spooky kicks. Nike is dropping a four pack of scary sneakers, but two of them are worth keeping an eye on. The first is the JA 3. The third signature sneaker from Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant.

Bright green mesh sits underneath “JA” raised monogrammed accents in a hemp colored green. A larger black vertical Swoosh sits on the lateral side outlined in crimson. The brown laces are complimented by fanged ‘Morant’ dubraes. If you are not feeling the brown laces then you can swap them out for red ones.

Inside are custom zombie themed insoles to keep the zombie vibe going. The cupped outsole houses full ZoomX foam cushioning and a mid foot shank for rigidity. This should be an easy cop as they will be available on the SNKRS app, Footlocker, and Hibbett to name a few. They will be available in men’s sizes and big kid’s sizes. Men’s size retail for $140.

KD18 ‘Slim Reaper’

Skeleton hand graphics
  • Colorway: Black
  • Style Code: IM1346-001
  • Retail: $170

Next up is a spooky take of Kevin Durant’s 18th signature shoe the KD18. Nicknames the slim reaper because of his lethal game this version is deadly scary. Sporting an all black color blocking makes this perfect for stalking the streets on Halloween night.

Black mesh upper is accented by black synthetic overlays. On the lateral side is a skeletal hand adorning the midfoot cage drawing inspiration from the Air Terra Humara. All of this sits on top an all black Cushion foam midsole housing full length Zoom Air cushioning.

Play some night time ball and be seen not only for your moves but the glow in the dark accents from these kicks. Hit up SNKRS, Footlocker, or Hibbett to pick these up. They will be available in men’s sizes and retail for $170.

Menace Superstar 82

Terry cloth upper
  • Colorway: Wonder White, Dark Blue, and Hazy Rose
  • Style Code: KK5010
  • Retail: $170

Up next is the Adidas Menace Superstar a mainstay in the sneaker community. The upper sports terry cloth finish with the three stripes getting a denim finish. The toe box is finished in off white leather along with the textures midsole.

On the heel is a navy blue hee tab with M branding in a Gothic script. The leather sock liner dons a rose hue. Underneath is a wavy traction pattern on the outsole. Check Adidas online where these will be available in men’s sizes and retail for $170.

October 24th Sneaker Releases

Grateful Dead x University of Oregon x Air Max 90

Chenille Swoosh

Colorway: Sail, Green Shock, and Yellow Strike

Style Code: IM2511-100

Retail: $145

This one is an instant classic before it even hits the shelf. The Oregon Ducks collabs always hit and this one is no different. Now they bring Grateful Dead into the fold for this eclectic take on the Air Max 90.

Off-white leather overlays are accented by rainbow colored stitching. White mesh dons the toe box and collared. Multi-colored canvas wraps around the toe all the way to the heel. Green and yellow TPU hits on the eyestays with yellow TPU surrounding the visible air unit.

On the heel is a Grateful Suck 1990 badge along with an Oregon Ducks hang tag. The insoles feature the iconic university’s mascot on the left and OU and Nike branding on the right. Underneath an aged lugged outsole completes the look.

This will be a hard one to cop. Check out Social Status or A Ma Maniere for a chance to cop. They will drop these via raffle. Be sure to lock in your pick by October 23rd. These will be available in men’s sizes and retail for $145.

October 25th Sneaker Releases

Air Jordan 3 ‘Family Affair’

Dark olive suede upper
  • Colorway: Medium Olive, Sequoia, Neutral Olive, Sail, and Total Crimson
  • Style Code: DN3707-202
  • Retail: $215

Let’s wrap up the week with a full size run of the Air Jordan 3. This tonal color palette features various green hues perfect for fall. Premium nubuck suede dominates this iteration of Tinker Hatfield’s iconic Air Jordan 3.

Olive green suede covers the upper with a neutral olive green on the collar and along the eyestays. Sequoia brown elephant print wraps around the toe and heel. On the tongue is a stitched Jumpman logo with raised Nike Air branding on the heel.

The off-white midsole houses the visible air unit. Underneath is a rubber gum outsole. I do not expect this to be a hard cop. They will be available via the SNKRS app and Jordan retailers like Footlocker and JD Sports.

That does for this week’s sneaker releases. I am pretty excited about the drops coming our way. Nike is giving us some spooky kicks. New Balance’s 1906 utility is definitely on my list. Let us know in the comments which pair you are going after. Until next time check out the Nike Yardrunner pack.
