Last week’s sneaker drops were hot. Jordan Brand dropped the Rare Air 4, which at the time of writing this article is still available. A Ma Maniere released a triple pack giving a nod to black creatives. Arts Rec dropped an SB pack inspired by the San Diego Zoo.

Going back to the Blue Ribbon days the Nike Daybreak encompasses 70’s running boom. The colors are vibrant and lively just like the pre Nike days. The vibrant hues make this the right runner for day or night.

Breathability is essential for a good runner and this shoe has it. Bright green open Air mesh sits underneath allowing for good air flow. On top is dark green hairy suede contrasting the lime green. Electric orange leather covers the Swoosh on the side.

On the back tab is orange leather accented by ‘Nike’ in white block lettering. Inside are bright lime green insoles dones with Nike in orange. The white foam midsole sits on top of the iconic waffle outsole finished in black.

Hit up the SNKRS app on July 29th to cop the retro runner. The retail price comes in at a reasonable $105. The Nike Daybreak will be available in men’s sizes.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro B

The precursor to the SB Dunk Low was the Low Pro B. It was built for long days on a board. With its elastic support strap and padded tongue comfort and stability were key in the model.

This version of the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro B has fallen vibes. The suede upper is finished in a dark green hue throughout. Even the Nike Swoosh on the side dons the same color. On the ankle is an oil green colored mesh as well as the padded tongue. The tongue sports a white tag with black Nike branding.

Tyrese Maxey x New Balance 1906R

Textile upper
  • Colorway: White, Bright Sky, and Sea Salt
  • Style Code: U1906RTM
  • Retail: $159.99

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey is dropping a hero pack with New Balance. This pack is inspired by his love of superheroes and comics. My favorite NB silhouette 1906 is getting some hero-like treatment.

Curvilinear details dominate the 1906 giving it a sleek futuristic look. The upper is constructed in an all white textile accented with leather linear overlays. The leather overlays are done with gold details for a nice pop.

The N-lock takes center stage in a sky blue hue. It’s a 1906R so comfort tech is there. The combination of ACTEVA LITE and N-ergy offer cushioning and shock absorption. Segmented ABZORB SBS pods sit in the heel.

The insoles give a nod to Maxey’s love for comics. Comic word print displays his signature wrapping up this superhero inspired kick. Check out New Balance online to snag a pair on July 31st. This 1906R will be available in men’s sizes and retails for $159.99.

Air Jordan 1 High OG

Wear away upper
  • Colorway: Black and Muslin
  • Style Code: DZ5485-002
  • Retail: $185

The week is not complete unless there is a Jordan drop. I know the Air Jordan 10 is releasing, but this Air Jordan 1 is it for me. It’s a hard choice to make with the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” releasing in a few weeks.

This version of the Air Jordan 1 is coming at us in a monochrome color blocking. All black leather is the theme here accented by a sail midsole. There is a catch with this one though. As the shoe wears a vibrant multi-colored hue is revealed. This is evident on the edges as pops of color are peeking out.

This Air Jordan 1 is available at Jordan retailers like Footlocker and JD Sports. Hit up the SNKRS app for FCFS shot. They will be available in men’s sizes with a retail price of $185. Big kids sizes will be available as for $140.

That wraps up this week’s sneaker release rundown. Jordan Brand is dropping some heat along with an SB. Look out for the Tyrese Maxey pack as well. Let us know in the comments what you are going for. Until next time keep it locked and check out our Best Jordan 11 picks.
