As a Nike member you get access to early releases for sneakers and clothes. Members also get discounts during members’ week or Nike Days. They also able to make custom sneakers. All these perks are absolutely free to access and open to everyone. With perk I made a pair of Air max 97s.
When I got access my brain started going on what I was going to create. These were my first pair of 97s ever. It’s not that I did not like the shoe. I did not like the colorways. As you can see this pair features a unique colorway.
The upper features a few colors including teal green, blue, and pink. The lining is orange almost a peach giving the sneaker a summer vibe. I then went with navy value around the mid-foot to offset some of the light colors. To top it of the laces are red to giving the sneakers and extra pop.
The shoe comes in an all white sliding box. The box is extra durable making it good for storage. The paper has 1/1 printed on it along with Nike’s trademark. The label on the end of the box has a picture of your shoe, size and name.
The overall quality is better than the general release 97s. The stiching is tight with no over hangs or extra glue protruding between the seams. For a shoe of this quality the price is on par with other 97s. It comes in at $195 which is only $10 more than higher priced 97s. For more on custom Nikes check out these custom Dunks.
