Welcome to sneaker geeks where we talk about sneakers and the culture. First a little about myself. My name is JC and by day I am a husband, father of three, and an engineer. When I am not analyzing data or running the kids to practice I am surfing the web trying to build my sneaker collection.
My love for sneakers began when I was in sixth grade with my first pair of British Knights and Filas. By no means were we cash strapped growing up, but my father thought sneakers were meant to be practical so Js were not an option. It was not until my junior yeat of high school I got my first pair of Jordans. Once I got those on my feet my love for sneakers exploded.
My love for sneakers continued to grow along with my collection. My go to shoe is Nike and Jordan (mainly 1s, 3s, 4s, 11s, 12s, and 13s). Although I do wear the occasional New Balance or Chuck Taylor. Now that I have kids I am able to share my love of sneakers with them.
So why did I start this blog? I love talking about sneakers and the culture. Most people in my circle have minimal interest in this topic. This platform gives me the opportunity to talk about my love of sneakers. I also hope to build a community of sneakerheads.
