It’s another new week so that means another weekly sneaker releases roundup. Last week Undefeated dropped an Air Jordan 4 a throwback to the F & F release from ’05. The Air Jordan 10 returned on an OG colorway and was an instant sellout. Tyrese Maxey dropped a 1906R that was part of a hero pack. Surprisingly at the time of this article is still available.

This week the Air Max 95 is returning in an OG colorway. The Whitaker group is dropping a New Balance pack. Of course the week is not complete until Jordan drops some heat. Let’s get into Sneaker Geek’s weekly sneaker release roundup

August 5th Sneaker Release

JA 3 ‘Light Show’

The sneaker release rundown starts with NBA star Ja Morant and his third signature shoe. When Ja steps on the court it is a show and this shoe encompasses his game. Starting the upper is composed of grey breathable mesh. The mesh is accented by raised monogram tonal graphics.

On the lateral side is a Swoosh in sky blue outline in pink simulating the letters J. Next to that is a bright orange “A” completing JA. Opposite that a blue Swoosh sits on the medial side.

On the heel is Ja’s signature phrase Twelve for 12 a.m. in blue lettering. The grey full length Cushion midsole sits on top of the rubber cupsole. On the outsole is a traction pad in JA monogram print. Hit up the SNKRS app on August 5th to pick up a pair. Footlocker will also have these available. August 7th

Air Max Uptempo 95 ‘Orlando Magic’

This retro release draws inspiration from the Orlando Magic’s uniform from the 90’s. The upper sports a white leather finish. On the mudguard is black nubuck suede that flows from toe to heel. The secure lacing system provides a lock in fit.

On the tongue and heel are dual pull tabs in blue. On the side wall is an angled Swoosh finished in blue as well along with a mini Swoosh on the lateral heel. On the heel is Air More branding in white.

All of this sits on top of a Phylon midsole housing the visible Air Unit. Check out Hibbett via the app or online to snag a pair. Enter the app by noon the day before the release to lock in your pick. This Magic Uptempo will be available in men’s sizes with a $170 price tag.

Air Zoom Spiridon

The retro runner is black this time in various hues or purple. The open cell mesh sports a Violet color accented by reflective piping of the same color. Magenta hairy suede covers the Swoosh is outlined in black embroidery.

A darker purple covers the textile material that wraps around from heel to toe. The purple light weight Phylon midsole features a wavy pattern. Inside is Nike Air cushioning while underneath is a segmented lugged outsole.

August 8th

The Whitaker Group x 990v4 Made in USA ‘Wilful Bliss’

New Balance and The Whitaker Group are back again with another collaboration. This time with the Made in USA 990v4. When it comes to premium Made in USA 990v4 features quality and craftsmanship.

Underneath cream colored mesh provides comfort and breathability. On top is a two tone green hairy suede. On the side is a light green hairy suede with N branding in grey. Darker green wraps around the toe and heel.

A 990 patch accents the cream colored laces with 990 branding on the lateral heel. On the tongue and back tab is New Balance branding. ENCAP technology sits inside the foam midsole and NDURANCE outsole sits underneath.

Air Max 95 OG ‘Blue Spark’

The Air Max 95 is celebrating 30 years so Nike is doing it right. They are being back some OG colorways. Along with bringing back to mainstays like the big Air unit. This Blue Spark version hits all of that.

Starting on the wavy side panels is a mix of materials from synthetic leather to airy mesh. These materials transition from black to white. On top the lace loops complement the white mesh with a spark of blue. On the tongue is Air Max branding in white and blue sitting against a dual colored patch.

A mini Swoosh adorns the lateral side with black Nike Air sitting on the heel stitched in black. Inside are blue insoles with black Nike branding. The black polyurethane midsole houses the blue tinted visible air unit.

The SNKRS app will have this OG Air Max 95 available on August 8th. They will be available on men’s size and retail for $190.

August 9th Sneaker Releases

Air Jordan 4 ‘Worn Blue’

Two tone denim upper
  • Colorway: Sail, Gum Light Brown, Worn Blue, and Metallic Gold

This Air Jordan 4 is for ladies, but fellas you can cop them to if you want. The denim Air Jordan 4 varies from the normal leather version we see. Replacing the leather on the upper is a two-tone denim upper.

The upper portion of denim hits in a light blue. Underneath that is darker blue denim finish. The quarter panel netting NG is replaced with a contrasting stitch detail. The TPU eyestays are done in white along with the Jumpman on the tongue and heel.

The off white poly midsole houses the visible air unit. Underneath is a two tone sail and rubber gum outsole accented by a light blue Jumpman. Hit up the SNKRS app or Jordans retailers to pick up a pair. They will be available in women’s, little kids, and toddler sizes. Women’s sizes retail for $220.
