The ‘Sandy’ Dunk is set to drop on December 17, but it is not the first time this sneaker has been released. It originally debuted in 2003 but it was minimal. Only two pairs were made of this silhouette. One pair was cut up and the other was purchased in an auction for $30,000. It was later revealed that Sandy Boedecker was the buyer.

The design behind this Dunk was to show how it would look on feet cut up. It features the colors of the eBay logo in patent leather. It features two transparent panels, so make sure your sock game is on point. The tongue is white trimmed in green with a red tag and yellow SB logo. The insole pays a special tribute to Sandy. It features an image of him with the designer’s (James Arizumi) son. Look for this to drop via the SNKRS app. Check out this article for more sneaker release information.
