Growing up I was a huge wrestling fan and one thing I loved was watching the luchadores. Lucha Libre is a style of Mexican wrestling known for its freestyle techniques. Luchadores wore colorful masks and performed high flying maneuvers and fast paced holds. This Air Jordan 3 Retro embodies the Lucha Libre style.

Tumbled white leather makes up the upper with exposed stitching. The wavy mid foot overlays sport a textured finish similar to dragon scales. Wrapping around the heel and toe is scaly dragon red overlays. The collar sports the same but in pine green.

Metallic Gold hits on the eyestays and tongue by way of the Jumpman logo. The visible air unit sits inside an off-white midsole. This shoe comes in a special box that looks like the promotional posters and three sets of laces.

This Luchador inspired Air Jordan 3 is a little pricey retailing for $230. They will be available on the SNKRS app FCFS. This Air Jordan 3 will be available in men’s sizes.

Alright sneaker heads that is it for this week’s sneaker releases. I am excited about the Air Jordan 3 and the New Balance 740. Which pair are you excited about? Let us know in the comments. Until next week check out the history of the Air Jordan 5 Fire Red.
