It would be nice always to spend $200 on sneakers. That is not always the case. If you are like me with three kids and a mortgage dropping this money all the time just can’t happen.
Here at Sneaker Geeks, we have found nine stylish sneakers that won’t break the bank. The best thing about our selection is these sneakers are not. Let’s dive into our list of 9 sneakers for $100 or less.

New Balance NB Numeric 440 High v2
- Style Code: NM440HLN
- Colorway: Vintage Indigo w/ Turtledove
- Retail Price: $84.99

This Newbie just dropped the last month. I am not a skater, but I like this silhouette. It features the ABZORB midsole, so you would be able to wear this all day. The upper is reinforced for extra stability and the heel is perforated for breathability. What’s make this more appealing is the $85 price tag. Check out New Balance for this one.
Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low
- Style Code: DV5141-661
- Colorway: Varsity Red/Black/White
- Retail Price: $105 (on sale for $55)
- Where to Purchase: Finishline
The Air Jordan 1 is a well-known Jordan model, but not the Air Jordan Nu. The Air Jordan Nu debuted in 2002 and has seen a re-birth recently. The Nu’s upper is made of smooth leather with an embossed wings logo on the sides. Finishline has this sneaker available for $55 and surprisingly there are still sizes available.
Nike Dunk Low ‘Vintage Panda’
- Style Code: FQ8899-100
- Colorway: White/Black/Coconut Milk
- Retail Price: $125 (on sale for $87)
- Where to Purchase: Feature
If you are like most people then you probably have Panda Dunk fatigue. With so many restocks and oversaturation it is easy to have just looked over these. This Panda dons an aged look for the vintage feel. The overlays are smooth black leather with white leather underneath. The tongue and heel have Nike branding. This one is available on Feature in women’s sizing.
Nike Initiator
- Style Code: 394055-001
- Colorway: Metallic Silver/White/Black
- Retail Price: $75
- Where to Purchase: Nike
I was not familiar with the Iniator silhouette until doing my research. It caught my attention as it looked like a ‘dad shoe’ but still stylish. The upper is a breathable mesh for those all-day amusement park walks. It also features supportive overlays and a foam midsole for comfort. Check out Nike to add this to the rotation.
Jordan Air Ship PE SP ‘Tech Grey’
- Style Code: DZ3497-100
- Colorway: Summit White/Gunsmoke/Tech Grey
- Retail Price: $140 (varies depending on size $49 – $114)
- Where to Purchase: Goat & eBay
The Jordan Air Ship was worn by Jordan during his rookie season and quickly disappeared with the Air Jordan 1 debuted. The Air Ship is one of my favorite silhouettes. It is a simple shoe available in different colorways. The Air Ship Tech Grey can be worn with pretty much anything. The ankle and Swoosh are covered in hairy suede. Nike branding can be found on the collar with a grey rubber cup outsole. If you don’t mid pre-owned shoes check out eBay
Adidas Forum Low Classic
- Style Code: ID6857
- Colorway: Core Black/Cloud White/Cream White

- Where to Purchase: Adidas
The Forum Low is a timeless Adidas silhouette. The core black forum has a gum rubber outsole for a nice contrast. It also dons a textile lining, full grain leather, and nubuck. Adidas has this one online for $100 in all sizes.
