The ALD X New Balance 1906R is another collaboration with the Teddy Santis company that will not dissapoint. This classic silhouette is getting a new look with a new colorway and styling
The next rendition of the 1906 is a collaboration with ALD (Aime Leon Dore). For those that don’t know ALD is a New York based fashion and lifestyle brand found by Teddy Santis in 2014. ALD has had collbs with Puma, Kith, and New Era. It wasn’t until the 550 collaboration in 2020 that ALD found succes. Since then we have seen the Teddy Santis 990v3 and the Made in USA 990.
The latest ALD x New Balance is the 1906R silhouette. The 1906 is a timeless design with running functionality. The 1906 features N-ergy shock absorbing technology and ACTEVA LITE cushioning. This sneaker has a mostly white mesh upper with hits of jade for a nice contrast.
The heel incorporates 3d printing with a TPU cage. The midsole is done in white and jade that really pops. The logo sports a green strip that is part of the laces with gold accents. The ALD x New Balance is dropping on May 4th at 10 am est. with a $169.99 price tag. Expect this to queue on New Balance so check in early for your chance to cop. Until then check out this week’s sneaker release guide.
