Grey elephant print dons the toe and heel

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Jordan 3’s debut. The memorable moment will be forever cemented in our minds when Jordan took off from the free throw line. This cemented Michael’s greatness in NBA history. In 1988 the Jordan 3 Tinker Hatfield’s first design debuted in four colorways. We got white cement, black cement, fire red, and true blue. Most recently the white cement retro in a re-imagined silhouette.

Full-size run

Although Jordan did not wear this colorway during his time in Chicago. He did wear the true blue colorway while playing with the Wizards. The late Kobe Bryant also sported the true blue colorway. This blue will be lighter than the true blue we have seen recently from the Jordan 1 High. The upper features tumbled leather with elephant print on the toe, heel, and along eye stays.

The ousole features copper on the Jordan log

We get hints of copper on the lower eye stays, the outsole, and the Jumpman logo on the tongue. The Wizards 3 gives us features that we have to come used to with a visible air cushion and Jumpman logo over the swoosh on the heel. Right now this colorway is expected to drop on April 29th via Nike and select retailers. Stay tuned for more updates and an in had review. In the meantime check out this review of the Air Jordan 3 White Cement “reimagined”.
