The original Air Jordan 13 dropped during the 97/98 NBA season. This would be the “Black Cats” sixth and final championship. This sneaker was designed with Jordan’s cat-like play in mind. The ankle features a holographic eye simulating the panther’s eye. The outsole has what is famously known as the paw print. When the 13 debuted it came out in seven colorways. This Spring we are getting a new colorway for the staple sneaker.

Last year’s 13 silhouettes included the del sol, brave blue, and black/university blue. My favorite 13 release of 2022 was the ‘I’d rather be fishing’ silhouette that dropped in December. Images of the upcoming Black Flint have surfaced thanks to @zsneakerheadz. The dimpled mesh upper wraps around the shoe in black. The suede mid is contrasting grey with a white toe box that stands out. No date has been confirmed, but you can look for a Spring release. Expect a price tag to be around the $210 mark, which would align with previous releases. Follow @sneakergeek for updates on this drop and more.
