Last week was exciting in the sneaker world. Jordan Brand dropped some familiar favorites like the Metallic 5s and the White Cement 4s. The Whitaker Group released a New Balance pack. At the time of writing this article the Whitaker New Balance Pack is still available.
This week’s sneaker drops although quiet will not disappoint. Jordan Brand is releasing the French Blue 12. The Air Foamposite ‘Cough Drop’ is also dropping. Let’s take a look at this week’s sneaker drops.
August 13th Sneaker Drops
Adidas Superstar Vintage

A mainstay in the Adidas line up is the Superstar. This has been a staple in the sneaker community for a long time. This version is built where it all began for Adidas in Germany
The upper sports all white premium leather. On the side are some eye catching details. The three stripes are done in red and blue. While Adidas Superstar is finished in gold lettering for a touch of elegance. The shell toe and midsole rock an ages look with yellowed white.
Hit up Adidas online on August 13th to cop a pair. This vintage Superstar will be available in men’s sizes with a retail price of $250.
August 15th Sneaker Drops
Air Foamposite One ‘Cough Drop’

Bringing back a retro kick made popular in the 90’s is Penny Hardaway’s signature sneaker. The Cough Drops makes a return after a fifteen year hiatus keeping true to form. The polyurethane molded basketball sneaker sports a two tone color blocking.
The molded polyurethane upper sports a black liquid finish. On the eyestays is black nubuck for a contrasting look. On the lateral side is a mini Swoosh in Varsity Red. On the tongue and heel is the iconic one cent logo.
The tongue and heel pull tab sports a black and red finish. Underneath is a cough drop red outsole accented by a red and black one logo. Hit up Footlocker or Hibbett to cop this pair. These will be available via draw so lock in your pick by August 14th. They will be available in men’s sizes and retail for $240.

Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘French Blue

Let’s wrap up the week with a Jordan drop. The week is not complete unless Jordan Brand gives us a drop. This week we get a Retro 12 that debuted almost 21 years ago
The Air Jordan 12 ‘French Blue’ debuted in 2004 and had a retro release in 2016. This version holds true to the originals. On top is all white tumbled leather with radiating stitching. Lizard textured overlays are finished in French blue.
Jumpman branding lands on the tongue and back pull tag. The Phylon midsole sports full length Zoom Air Cushioning. Underneath is an exposed carbon fiber shank plate. This pair will be available in full family sizing on the SNKRS app and Jordan retailers. Men’s sizes retail for $205
